Kursus ini meliputi konsep PSV, serta matlamat dan objektif PSV dalam KBSR. Kursus ini juga menekankan kepentingan PSV dalam kehidupan seharian. Pelajar mengupas dan membincangbeberapa pandangan serta sumbangan tokoh-tokoh Seni dan pendidik-pendidik Seni tentang Seni Visual. Pelajar didedahkan tentang kesenian pelbagai budaya di Alam Melayu, India, China, Jepun dan Barat. Konsep kraf diperkenalkan dan kepentingan PSV dalam teknologi tinggi juga diberi perhatian.

This course includes the concepts, aims and objectives of Visual Art Education in KBSR. It emphasizes on the importance of Visual Art Education in everyday life. This gives the opportunity to students to reveal and discuss various views and contributions of distinguished artists and art educationist. The students will be exposed to art of various cultures.The concept of craft is introduced and the importance of Visual Art Education in the era of sophisticated technology is given due attention.
